Fr. Benjamin Syberg reflects on the 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time, teaching that all baptized Catholics are called to discipleship and self-denial, following Christ by serving others—the poor, imprisoned, and marginalized—as we would serve Christ Himself.

Announcements

KPC Council 109 is accepting scholarship applications for the 2026-27 academic year. Only Holy Angels parishioners and relatives are eligible. Applications available from individual Knights or the Rectory.
Congratulations to Holy Angels 2026 graduates across kindergarten, middle school, high school, college/trade, and graduate degree programs.
Holy Angels received a testimonial letter from a visiting family who attended the June 14 9:00 AM Mass, praising the warmth, hospitality, and Spirit-filled worship they experienced.
The Festival Committee thanked all volunteers who contributed to Holy Angels Rock the Block Community Festival success.

Holy Angels parishioners can buy or sell Marian Kay Spices. See Patricia Scott or Paula Smith for participation. Payment due when order submitted; turnaround time 4-6 weeks. All proceeds to Holy Angels Catholic Church.

St. Vincent de Paul Item Collection

Service

Collecting twin, full, queen, or king sheet sets, towels, and wash cloths (new or gently used but clean). Box in Narthex. Items taken to Mission 27 Center for neighbors in need.
