Pastor's Note

Outgoing Pastor Fr. Tim DeCrane reflects on 4.5 years of accomplishments including achieving zero parish debt, major building renovations, revival of school enrollment to nearly 150 students, strengthened Catholic identity, and renewed ministries including Eucharistic Adoration and OCIA. He welcomes Fr. Jegan Peter as the new pastor and encourages the parish to receive him and continue growing as missionary disciples.

Announcements

Parish is now debt free! The St. Rose Finance Committee is pleased to announce that after many years and four years into their five-year debt elimination plan, they made the final loan payment this week—one year ahead of schedule. This accomplishment was made possible through the generosity and support of the St. Rose Community.
Fr. Jegan Peter has been appointed as the new Pastor at St. Rose of Lima, Franklin, IN since July 2026. He is a native of Sankarankovil, Tamil Nadu in India, ordained in 2009, and brings extensive pastoral experience from multiple parishes in Indiana. All Mass days and times will remain the same.
St. Rose School new flooring project has been successfully completed! This improvement was made possible through parishioner generosity and the Casino Night fundraiser. Enrollment is still open for PreK-3 through 8th Grade for 2026-2027. Contact the school office or email ktekippe@stroselions.net.
Registration forms for 2026-2027 Religious Education are now available online or at the parish office. Classes start September 13, 2026 for Pre-K through 8th grade.
