Pastor's Note

Fr. Kamwendo thanks parishioners for their bake sale support raising $1,100 for a new rectory sign. He reflects on the Gospel's message about Christ as the foundation of faith, encouraging parishioners to deepen their personal relationship with Jesus and serve others with humility and compassion.

Announcements

Next weekend (August 30) there will be a Second Collection for St. Michael SVdP Conference. The conference has received 165 assistance calls since January and assisted 86 people with referrals, food pantry access, or financial assistance. For about $110, you can ensure a child does not sleep on the floor.

St. Vincent de Paul is raffling off a new car at their Summer Soiree on August 27 at Union Station, featuring cocktails, gourmet dinner, live entertainment, and silent auctions. Early bird tickets available with $25 savings at svdpindy.org/summer.

The parish needs more Altar Servers and Eucharistic Ministers. Please call the Parish Office at 317-926-7359 ext. 1 to sign up for training.
