The pastor reflects on the Ascension of the Lord as Christ's drawing of humanity into God's life, not as abandonment. Christ sends ordinary disciples into the world with His abiding presence through Word, Eucharist, the poor, and the Church. Every baptized person is called to witness to Christ through lives marked with mercy, fidelity, patience, and hope.
Announcements
Principal Mrs. Amy Wilson has accepted a new position at Roncalli High School and will remain in her position through the end of June to ensure a smooth transition. St. Roch Catholic School is now seeking a faith-filled, student-centered instructional leader to serve as principal for its Pre-K–8 community.
School enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year for Pre-K to 8th Grade. Open enrollment is available; visit strochindy.org for more information or to schedule a tour.
There will be a second collection for special causes on May 30/31 (Catholic Diocese of Quilon, India Missionary) and June 6/7 (Capital Improvement).
St. Roch welcomes new baptized members to the parish family, including infants baptized in February and April 2026.
