Pastor's Note

Father Doug Marcotte announces the hiring of Kelli Ginter as the new Secretary and Communications Coordinator, starting September 8th. He also shares that he is receiving coaching through Amazing Parish and has formed a Parish Leadership Team with Leah Kelly, Rikki McGuire, and Katelyn Stumler. Additionally, four new members have joined the Parish Council: Monica Bottorff, Catie Eichhorn, Andrew Hamilton, and Tom Yost.

Announcements

Mass Intentions for 2027 are now being accepted. Due to increased demand, no more than 2 weekend and 3 weekday intentions may be reserved per individual/family in 2027. Please call the Parish Office to schedule.

Sacred Heart Catholic School, 1840 E. 8th Street, Jeffersonville, has an immediate opening for a Substitute Teacher for a Maternity Leave in its Child Care Ministry classroom. This position is for a Teaching Assistant for 2 year olds, 4 will run through the end of October. The bulletin mentions that the weekly offering amount over for the year (July 2026) is $14,780.73. Week of August 2nd collections: Sunday Collections $8,107.00, Mail In Collections $7,110.43, Online Giving $10,178.85. Amount needed for each week is $19,00.00.

Children's Envelopes encourage the giving of time and talents. Each envelope leaves a space for your child to reflect on their time, talent, and treasure. These envelopes are available in the Parish Office.

St. Carlo Acutis Video Gamers Retreat

For young adults ages 18-39 at Saint Meinrad. Recently canonized millennial St. Carlo Acutis enjoyed hobbies such as video games.
