Pastor's Note

Fr. Steve Giannini expresses gratitude for 11 years of service at SS. Francis and Clare of Assisi and thanks parishioners for their kindness, prayers, and support. He acknowledges key contributions from Deacon Ron and the Worship Committee, OCIA Catechists, parish office, and school staff, noting that his first parish assignment formed him well as a priest. Fr. Giannini reflects on celebrating his first Easter Triduum, Lessons and Carols, baptisms, and funerals at this parish before moving to his new assignment at St. Mary Parish, Greensburg.

Parish staff transitions effective July 1, 2026: Jodi Hazard becomes Parish Secretary; Andrea Wagner joins as Parish/School Communications; Avery Brown joins as Assistant Business Manager; Nick Trulock joins as Facilities Manager; Monica Robinson steps down from OCIA to focus on ministry formation. Collin Byers' position as Director of Catechesis & Evangelization remains open.
Newly baptized on June 14, 2026: Oaklee Caster, Maryanne Elizabeth King, and Frederick Ignatius Gillespie.
Parish office summer hours: May 29 – July 31, Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Fridays closed.

Bereavement Support Group

8-session bereavement support group meeting in the Courtesy Room. Will meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. A self-help group for those grieving, offering confidential gathering with others also grieving.
