Fr. Kyle Rodden reflects on the Gospel of the Canaanite woman, exploring how Jesus tests her faith and invites all sinners to the heavenly table through the Eucharist. He encourages parishioners to desire deeply that all may eat at the Lord's table and to challenge one another toward deeper faith in God's mercy.

St. Joseph Parish Offerings for 08/02/2026 were $8,255 against a weekly budget of $9,231, creating a variance of ($976). Year-to-date actual collections through 08/02/2026 are $42,126 against a budgeted total of $46,155, with an annual budget variance of ($4,029).
St. Mary Parish Offerings for 08/02/2026 were $12,151 against a weekly budget of $7,327, creating a favorable variance of $4,824. Year-to-date actual collections through 08/02/2026 are $63,025 against a budgeted total of $36,635, with a favorable annual budget variance of $26,390. Finance Committee Chair is Darrell Voelker (812.705.0203).
Low-gluten hosts are kept already consecrated in the tabernacle at both St. Joseph and St. Mary parishes. If you or a family member requires a low-gluten host, inform the priest, deacon, or altar server before Mass, and the minister will ensure it is brought to the altar and distributed reverently during Holy Communion.
St. Joseph's Comfort Meal Ministry needs volunteer team leaders and team members to provide meals for families following funerals at no charge. Contact Dawn Lewis at dawn.lewis@catholic-community.org or call St. Joseph's parish office for information.
