Announcements
This is a funeral pre-arrangement planning document for the three Catholic parishes in Jennings County (St. Ann's, St. Joseph's, St. Mary's). Families are encouraged to complete this form and file it in a location known to immediate family members.
Only sacred music based on scripture is permitted during the Mass of Christian Burial. The parish provides the Entrance Antiphon and the Procession to burial hymn; families may select additional hymns from the provided list for the Preparation of the Altar, Communion, and optional Post-Communion meditation.
Eulogies are not permitted during the Mass of Christian Burial itself but may be offered during the Vigil/Rosary service at the funeral home, following the committal service, or as part of the funeral meal.
The parish will provide an accompanist, cantor, and altar servers for all funeral Masses. Families may choose to include a funeral meal for family and friends following the Mass.
