Fr. Jeremy Gries reflects on how to better participate in Mass by understanding its structure, reviewing readings beforehand, and listening actively to the proclaimed Word as part of corporate worship rather than treating it as a private devotion. He encourages families to help newcomers orient themselves to the liturgy.

Announcements

Family Formation (formerly CFF) registration is open for the 2026-2027 school year. The program meets 9:00-10:30 AM Sundays in the DAC beginning September 27. Registration fee is $75 per child, due at first session. Complete online registration at bit.ly/FamForm2627 by August 9.

2026-2027 Sunday Missals are available for pre-order. Adult missals are $6 each, children's missals are $8 each. Pre-orders must be placed by Sunday, July 26 at bit.ly/26-27_MissalsOrder. Note: OCIA adults, 2nd graders preparing for First Communion, and Family Formation students will receive missals in their classes.
Word of the Lord Adults Group meeting time changes effective July 10: group will meet on Fridays at 9:00 AM after 8:00 AM Mass in the DAC. No homework required; sessions explore upcoming Mass readings weekly.
