Pastor's Note

Fr. Khaing announces the launch of a youth program (Dead Theologians Society) for high school and college-age youth beginning August 16, meeting almost every Sunday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the gym. The program combines social time, saint education, prayer, and spiritual formation to help young people grow in faith and resist harmful worldly influences.

Announcements

Parish directory copies are available for pickup after weekend Masses or in the parish office during the week (only for those who participated by photo).
Online giving is available on both parish websites for one-time or recurring donations for those unable to attend Mass.
St. Thomas weekly stewardship: Mass Offering $2,414.00; Electronic Giving $810.00 (as of August 9, 2026).
Sanctuary Candle at St. Thomas this week burns for all who suffer from loneliness (dedicated by Pat Sanders). 14-day candles available for $10 dedication; contact Parish Office.

Feast of St. Michael (parish patron). Evening begins with Mass at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner, raffle, and silent auction at St. Michael. Raffle tickets available after weekend Masses and in parish office: 2 for $50 or 5 for $100. Prizes: 1st $3,000, 2nd $1,000, 3rd $500. Must be 18+ to purchase. Registration required by September 7 via parish website or QR code. No charge to attend dinner.

Talitha Koum Recovery House Collection

Service

Collection drive for Talitha Koum Recovery House seeking gas and Walmart gift cards, coffee, paper plates, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, Dawn dish soap, and new clear shower curtains. Bring donated items to designated collection area.

Parish Garage Sale - Donation Collection

Service

· After weekend Masses

Collecting donated items for the Old National Road (US 40) Garage Sale on May 28-30 at 84 Sports and Storage, 2033 West US Hwy 40, Greenfield. Donations can be dropped off at St. Michael barn after each weekend Mass. Proceeds donated to local charities. Contact Jennifer Klase at 317-361-3871 for bulk donations or volunteer opportunities.

Baby Shower for Birthline

Service

The Women's Club hosted a Baby Shower for Birthline at their monthly meeting in March. If you would like to donate any items, new or gently used, you may drop items off at the parish office over the next couple of weeks.
