Pastor's Note

The Gospel reflection focuses on the faith of the Canaanite woman who persistently pleaded with Jesus to help her suffering daughter. Despite apparent silence from Jesus and dismissal from the disciples, she continued to trust. Her persistence teaches that God's silence does not mean God's absence, and we are invited to remain faithful, humble, and persistent in prayer, trusting that Jesus hears us and His mercy never fails.

Announcements

The parish has a new shed in the parking lot. Parishioners are invited to check it out and provide feedback.
Faith Formation Program for all ages will be offered in English and Spanish this Fall, beginning September 20, 2026. Registration for children begins August 30.
Food Pantry needs this week: shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, band-aids, hydrogen peroxide, aspirin, bacitracin and similar products.
To offer a Mass intention for a loved one, complete an envelope located on the narthex table and place it in the collection basket.
