Pastor's Note

Fr. Jegan reflects on his eight years serving the Catholic Community of Lawrence County as he prepares to begin a new assignment at St. Rose of Lima, Franklin. He expresses deep gratitude for the faith, generosity, and support of parishioners, clergy, staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders. He leaves the community with a blessing from Numbers 6:24-25 and promises continued prayers.

Announcements

Father Jegan Peter is departing after 8 years as pastor to begin service at St. Rose of Lima, Franklin. The community celebrates his faithful service with farewell events on June 28th.

Father Douglas Hunter will be the new pastor joining the community July 5th for coffee, donuts, and meet-and-greet sessions after Masses.

Ordination anniversary congratulations to the priesthood and deacons on their years of ministry: Father Jegan (June 21, 2009), Deacon Tom (June 24, 2017), Deacon Dave (June 28, 2008).

Faith Formation registration is now open for 2026-27 Catechesis and Sacramental Preparation. Programs include Family of Faith, Youth Group, Confirmation, First Communion, and Order of Christian Initiation. Register online at www.YourCCLC.org

United Catholic Appeal 2026/2027 update - St. Vincent has pledged $24,530 (56.2% to goal of $43,614), total collections $8,653.76. St. Mary has pledged $9,812 (102% to goal of $9,598), total collections $1,175.00.
