Pastor's Note

Fr. John Muir reflects on Jesus's challenging teaching that loving Him must come before all other relationships. He emphasizes that Christ's claim on our love is absolute not to control us, but because He is the source of life and love itself. When we put Jesus first, everything else—family, friendships, vocation—falls into place. He encourages parishioners to consciously offer back to the Lord one thing or person they are tempted to place before Him.

VBS Thank You: What an incredible week at Vacation Bible School! We extend heartfelt thanks to the entire St. Barnabas parish community for prayers, encouragement, donations, and support. Children were able to spend the week Exploring the Nature of God through faith-filled lessons, music, games, crafts, and fellowship. Email faith@stbindy.org to be part of this ministry.
