Deacon Jerry reflects on Pentecost, emphasizing three calls: openness to the Holy Spirit, courage to use our gifts despite fear, and unity in diversity. He reminds us that the Spirit orchestrates the Church like a symphony, where each person has a unique gift and purpose, and challenges us to step out of our comfort zones to allow the Spirit to work through us.

Announcements

Second Collection for St. Vincent de Paul will take place May 30th & 31st at all Masses. This is one of their main sources of income. Please be generous.

Special Announcement from Father Showreddy: New School Principal Dr. Annette Jones has been appointed. She brings over three decades of Catholic education experience and has led schools to National Blue Ribbon Awards. She will begin work immediately on transition items.

Attention Facilities Update: Backlot Closure. Work will begin on the back parking lot on Tuesday, May 26th. There will be no access to the back lot after Sunday, May 31st for about 2 weeks.

Covenant Renewal Materials are available in the narthex. Parishioners are invited to turn in their completed pledge paper in the Mass offering basket or electronically at stbindy.org/stewardship or scan QR code. Email to CovenantRenewal@stbindy.org after completing digitally.

Offering Envelopes: If you are still receiving envelopes and no longer use them, contact Bookkeeper Brandi Spindler at bspindler@stbindy.org to stop having them sent. Lending Library has started in the hallway by the Faith Formation Office - free to borrow books and return at leisure.
