Announcements

St. Chris Food Pantry requests donations of stuffing mix, flour, sugar, masa, and pancake mix, as well as women's personal hygiene products. Bring donations to Mass and place them in baskets in the usher's closet.
Weekly Mass collection was $12,451.86 with online giving of $6,950.52 against a weekly budget of $27,403.85. Year-to-date actual is $169,620.60 against a budget of $191,826.95, representing a shortfall of $22,206.35.
No winner for August 16 50/50 raffle; the pot was $6,725. Participate by mailing in your contribution or placing the 50/50 envelope in the usher's basket. Cost is $5 per week; registered parishioners with an envelope number must play to win.
Marriages: Catholic parties registered in the parish must notify Bill Szolek-VanValkenburgh at least six months in advance (or nine months if marrying outside the Archdiocese). Non-registered couples must register and be actively involved for a minimum of two months before instruction may begin.
Child baptisms: Parents of first-born children must call the Parish Office to schedule pre-baptismal instruction and must be registered parishioners for at least two months prior. Baptisms are available on Sunday after the 12:30 PM Mass.

Pop Tabs for Ronald McDonald House

Service

St. Chris Knights of Columbus collecting pop tabs removed from aluminum beverage cans. Drop offs in labeled buckets in school or usher's closet. Over 75,000 tabs received as of end of April. Contact Rudy Schwenk at rudysch@aol.com.
