Pastor's Note

Fr. Francis reflects on Jesus's promise of the Holy Spirit as our Advocate and Helper. He emphasizes that loving God requires obedience to His commandments, and that prayer, guided by the Holy Spirit, puts our hope into action and assures us we are never abandoned or lost.

Announcements

St. Pius X Catholic School is partnering with the Institute for Quality Education (IQE), a scholarship granting organization (SGO). Donors can make gifts to IQE designating St. Pius X as beneficiary, receiving a 50% Indiana state tax credit plus federal tax deductions, significantly reducing the actual cost of contribution.
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and mother-figures. St. Pius X recognizes the sacred role mothers play in nurturing and guiding their children in faith.
Fr. James Pierce Cavanaugh, OP, a son of St. Pius X parish, will visit on May 17 to speak about the Rosary and will preach at weekend Masses.

13-week faith-filled grief support program for anyone mourning the death of a loved one. Sessions meet every Tuesday morning in the Matthew Conference Room. First session April 7: 'What do I live for now?' Provides video presentations by experts, real stories, and peer support.

St. Pius X St. Vincent de Paul ministry partnering with St. Andrew Parish to host a free 16-week program for people living in poverty seeking to develop personal goals and plans for a better future. Meets Mondays and Thursdays, May through July at St. Andrew Parish. Seeking volunteers from St. Pius parish to assist.
