Fr. Eric Johnson reflects on hospitality as a Christian virtue, drawing from Scripture and highlighting its importance in welcoming others with dignity and creating space for Christ's presence. He also mentions the Maryknoll Fathers' visit and youth attending the "On Bread, One Cup" Liturgical Conference at Saint Meinrad.

Announcements

Construction is planned from June 8th through mid-July. The south parking lot behind the school is undergoing excavation and asphalt installation and will not be available. North parking lot will be closed June 30th and July 1st for repairs; it will reopen July 1st for daily mass. The Parish Office will be closed June 30th, July 1st, and July 3rd.
Fr. Eric Johnson is taking vacation time following the archdiocesan convection of priests. Fr. John Hau Hawm Mang will be celebrating Mass in his absence. Parishioners are asked to keep Fr. Johnson in their prayers.
For those age 73 or older, qualified charitable distributions from an IRA offer a tax-friendly giving option—tax-free, applies toward RMD, and is not counted in taxable income. Contact Alison Archer or Julie Scott in the Business Office for more information.
St. Mark is celebrating 250 years of American independence this Saturday, July 4th. Parishioners are invited to pray for the nation and thank God for the blessings of freedom and the dignity of all persons.

Kairos Prison Ministry Information Session

Representatives from St. Mark who are involved with Kairos Prison Ministry will be in the Narthex to answer questions about the upcoming Kairos Inside Weekend at Camp Atterbury Correctional Facility (April 23-26). Parishioners can sign a Prayer Chain and make monetary donations.
