Pastor's Note

Fr. Eric Johnson wishes all mothers a happy Mother's Day and reflects on how mothers witness God's love. He thanks catechists and volunteers for their commitment to youth faith formation and encourages all to remember that loving God means conforming our will to His and following His commandments, with the assurance that Jesus will not leave us orphans.

St. Mark has installed a new adaptive hearing system called Listen Wi-Fi to assist parishioners with hearing aids. Connect to the St. Mark Guest Wi-Fi network (password: Lions2022), download the free Listen WIFI app, and stream Mass audio directly into your hearing aids. St. Vincent de Paul reports serving more than 1,000 families at the 30th Street Food Pantry on a recent Saturday. Multiple food pantry options are available in the 46227 zip code; visit INDYHUNGER.ORG to find resources. St. Mark SVdP continues to assist families with household items and welcomes continued support.

The Greeting Card Ministry thanks parishioners for donations and acknowledges the Sisters of St. Benedict at Our Lady of Grace Monastery in BeechGrove for their generous contributions of greeting cards and cardstock.
St. Mark has established a firearm policy: With the exception of law enforcement officers, no firearms are permitted on church or school property. All firearms must be locked in vehicles in a non-visible manner.

Kairos Prison Ministry Information Session

Representatives from St. Mark who are involved with Kairos Prison Ministry will be in the Narthex to answer questions about the upcoming Kairos Inside Weekend at Camp Atterbury Correctional Facility (April 23-26). Parishioners can sign a Prayer Chain and make monetary donations.

Eucharistic Service Opportunity at Community Hospital South
